Charles Jenkins is an applied physicist with a PhD from the University of Cambridge and is with CSIRO. He previously worked in various instrument design roles, including seven years with Schlumberger.  

 

From 2008, he was involved in the design and operation of demonstration CO2 storage projects at the Otway International Test Center, run by CO2CRC, where his principal responsibilities were initially in managing the monitoring and verification programme. He was the Science Lead for the latest CO₂ injection experiment at the Otway site, “Stage 3”.  

 

Charles is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Physics and until recently, was an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control.
