Bernardene has more than 20 years’ experience as commercial and financial advisor in the energy sector. She has commercial expertise across a range of technologies, including fossil fuels, renewable energy, and blue and green hydrogen. 

Bernardene has worked in industry and as consultant in both Australia and Africa, advising on policy, strategy, commercialisation and project delivery. She has acted as advisor to both public and private sector clients, with specific focus on decarbonisation and environmentally sustainable projects. Having gained experience on several world-first infrastructure and renewable energy projects, including the world’s first liquefied hydrogen supply chain pilot, Bernardene brings significant commercial insight to projects. 

Bernardene is a Chartered Accountant with post graduate qualifications in Finance.
