Professional Bio
Bronwyn heads up the Decarbonisation Initiatives Branch in the Net Zero Industries Division of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
In this role, Bronwyn has policy oversight of the Powering the Regions Program, the Regional Hydrogen Hubs Program, and Carbon Capture Use and Storage programs, including international collaboration activities relating to CCUS.
Bronwyn has extensive experience in climate and water policy at the state and federal level, including working at the Bureau of Meteorology, where she led the Strategy and Performance Program and established the Australian Climate Service, and at the National Water Commission implementing the National Water Initiative.
Bronwyn is a Chartered Secretary, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with a Masters in Public Administration from the Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Science from Murdoch University in Western Australia.
