Julian Turecek is Co-Founder & CEO of AspiraDAC; pioneering the world’s first modular, scalable and solar powered Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. He is also a Director of Corporate Carbon.

 

Julian has over three decades experience in the energy sector, with executive roles in trading, policy & government affairs, business development including M&A, project and asset management across almost all forms of power generation and upstream gas, with companies including Origin Energy, EnergyAustralia and BHP Petroleum. He also has venture capital experience, having invested two cleantech venture funds. Julian is a recognised subject matter expert in carbon trading, and has shared this expertise by teaching a post-graduate course in Carbon Finance at Macquarie University's Applied Finance Centre.

 

Julian holds Bachelor Degrees in Chemical Engineering (with First Class Honours) and Commerce, and a Masters of Applied Finance.
