Kexin (Vivian) Zhang is a PhD candidate at the School of Engineering, Deakin University in Geelong, Australia. With a background in environmental and chemical engineering, she has developed a profound interest in environmental mitigation and sustainability. 

Currently, Vivian is involved in the annual groundwater and soil gas monitoring programs at the CO2CRC Otway International Test Centre. Her research primarily focuses on optimising environmental monitoring methods for on-shore deep-well carbon sequestration projects. Additionally, she is exploring technologies for continuous soil gas monitoring.
