CCS essentials for policymakers and professionals 1pm-5pm
The course is designed to equip policymakers and professionals working in sectors closely associated with or influenced by CCS initiatives, with a foundational understanding of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
It will explore a range of subjects including the fundamentals of CCS, common misconceptions surrounding CCS, the complexities, and opportunities integral to CCS, and a project-specific breakdown of CCS around Australia, both onshore and offshore.
The purpose of the course is to provide the skills to proficiently evaluate, at a high level, the technical, regulatory, economic and environmental aspects of CCS projects, therefore, supporting informed decision-making associated with CCS.
